The Project
Nordwind, a Russian airline company wanted to get a redesign of their website.
The challenge was to stand out from the competition and making other services such as booking hotels and tour reservations more prominent.
As it is a priority for an airline to give people a sense of trust, we created a design focusing on user experience which we believe is key to building “trust”.

quick Navigation
We used hero images inspiring travel and feeling good. To make the important information such as flights and destinations to be quickly accessible we implemented a quick navigation bar. But in order to create a light-weight feeling and keep the vivid imagery, we created the navbar element with some transparency.
Responsive Web Design
Nowadays it`s almost unaccaptable to build a website without concerning the “mobile first” and “touch” factors. We adapted the concept for mobile devices, making it usable, viewable and consistent. Desiging touchable elements at the right size was also of utmost importance.
Categorized Icons
Every customer or prospect has different needs. By implementing categorized icons we made it easy for different kinds of users with different kinds of tastes to select from featured flights and tours.
